We've considered recently banking at 1st financial because of the feature of depositing checks at ATM. But after today we've decided to continue banking where we bank for this reason. If someone who banks with 1st financial pays us a check from 1st financial, 1st financial charges us $5 even though it's their check no matter how small the check is. Our bank invites new customers in by offering free check cash even if you don't bank with them. THAT'S being about gaining new customers. We'll continue banking where we're at, but thanks for charging for YOUR own checks to lost potential customers!
