    I went into the local Prosperity because I was in town visiting my mom. Walked through the door and no greeting, although there’s two tellers and one other “higher up” standing there. The young man working the drive through turns and asks if he can help me. Seriously? I let him know I needed to have a form notarized. He lets the lady who is a notary know and her first question to him is “am I a member”. I let her know I was, which should be beside the point. If I’m not, doesn’t she have the right to charge for her notary services? I was a retail manager for several years and customer service ranks extremely high in my book. Well, your Smithville location definitely lacks in that category. Whether I bank there frequently or not and you recognize me as being a local, EVERYONE deserves the same treatment. My mom is known by name when she walks into this branch, but I don’t believe in piggy backing off of her. I did let her know how unapproachable I felt the employees of this branch were and that I would not be back. With that being said, this is the second time I’ve recommended that Prosperity train their employees in the customer service area because at certain branches it’s definitely lacking. I love the Victoria branches for many reasons, but most of all because they exhibit true customer service from the time you walk into the lobby until your business is handled. I believe it’s time for me to consider another bank! Regards, Heather

    They have allows been helpful to me and if something transaction wise doesn't look normal they give me a call to make sure I requested it. They also help me with doing the IRS payment every year which I am most grateful for. Charles Knippa
