- NINorma L. InabinetSep 2, 20255.0Recently we were invited by Edward Jones, Financial Advisor Matt Bauer to be on of their guest speakers. We shared our Visiting Angels of Northeast San Antonio story -- how we support our community by helping seniors and veterans with home care services. We explained our business model, what makes us different from other home care agencies, how we volunteer and most importantly we highlighted the multiple Long Term care options the Veteran Administration (VA) offers to eligible veterans to off-set the cost of home care and facility services. Matt being a financial advisor wanted his guest to be aware of the cost benefits of getting benefits through the VA if otherwise eligible. He also wanted his non-veteran host to be aware of the services we provided and the cost of senior care so they can plan for the future. All his guest were very gracious and asked a lot of great questions. We sincerely appreciated Matt for inviting us as guest speakers and for recognizing the financial benefits our information offered his guest.
