- JGJose Luis GongoraNov 5, 20251.0My debit card had to be blocked, so I went to the bank to have it replaced. They issued a new one and told me it was ready to use. When I got home and tried it, it didn’t work. I went back to the bank a second time, and they gave me another card. I tried to use it right away at Sonic next door, but it still didn’t work. An employee then brought me into an office and kept me there for about 45 minutes, only to tell me it was a Visa issue and that I’d need to wait 24 hours before using the card. The worst part was that the employee never apologized for the inconvenience — after three trips to the bank and nearly an hour of my workday wasted.
