- TLTone LokeDec 3, 20241.0I originally took out a vehicle loan with Truist in San Antonio, TX in 2021. However, in 2022, I discovered that someone had fraudulently opened two additional loans under my name at a Truist branch in Florida. It was later suggested that this may have been an inside job, which raises serious concerns about the bank’s internal security measures, especially given the advancements in technology. After over a year of persistent follow-ups and attempts to resolve this issue, I contacted Truist again today only to find that the fraudulent Florida address was still linked to my account. I asked the representative how this could be, as I was under the impression that the issue had been fully resolved. The lack of clarity and the continued presence of the fraudulent address on my account left me deeply frustrated. In my experience, Truist has failed to properly protect my personal information and address the situation with the urgency and professionalism I expected. I cannot recommend this bank to others, as their handling of this matter has demonstrated a troubling lack of responsibility in safeguarding customers' sensitive data. Before deciding to do business with Truist, I strongly advise carefully considering these risks.

But every time you call you have to deal with a machine then a person who has no clue what's going on then put on hold for a while so they can talk to the back office to find out you have to call back. This place is costing me money and time they care very little about. Will never do business with this company again.
