  I have been a customer with this credit union for 10 years maybe even longer back when it was called Air Force Credit Union. In those 10+ years if I ever had a single issue with AFCU, I could speak to a live person at the bank who was knowledgeable or over the phone and it would be resolved right away. During my time with AFCU I rarely had any problems, now almost one year with Soarion, I think I've had more issues with them in the last year than in 10 years or more with AFCU. Once the name of the bank changed to Soarion Credit Union (I assume they were bought out by someone else or changed owners), I have had many issues. When they sent me my new card switching over from AFCU to Soarion, I could not use it for several days due to what someone at the bank said was computer issues. Next I no longer had access to features I had for years like overdrafted protection and courtesy pay. Again no one at the bank could tell me why, it's just Soarion's new policy is what a teller said. Most recently my card was blocked due to what they believe was a fraud charge for $49.99 even though I said "yes it was me" in a text message. They sent me a new card and upon activating the card, I could not use it because I needed to reset my PIN. 3 weeks later my card is being declined again for the same reason even though I used it before at several stores and restaurants. When I check my online account it says the card is active, so I do not understand why I can not use it or what the issue is with my PIN. I have tried to call the automated number that someone gave me to reset my PIN, and the automated system says we can not help you at this time and hangs up. You can't even get to a live person anymore. At some point if this happens again or my issue cannot be resolved I will be closing my account and going to a different CU. Worst service ever changing from AFCU to Soarion CU. Update: At around 4:30 pm I spoke to customer service and spoke to a very rude person, I sadly did not get her name but the women made several racist comments about me and insulted me. I am very upset and I will be calling again to file a complaint with someone! Absolutely unacceptable!!!

  This is absolutely the worst financial institution to be involved with bar none. I have an exceptional credit score but they still found it necessary to raise the interest rate on my credit card 12 points for no reason other than greed. I have never been late nor have I missed a payment yet they feel compelled to squeeze every last dime from their customers. Time after time they have felt it prudent to purchase insurance policies on my vehicles and charge my account when I have never had a lapse in coverage at one point in vehicle ownership. Clearing this mistake on their end is like jumping through flaming hoops and it has happened on multiple vehicles on separate occasions. Why anyone would continue to do business with these crooks is beyond me. They deserve negative stats but 1 is the lowest it will let me grade them. There are far greater places to do business, avoid this place at all costs. 0/10 do not recommend.
