    I had a concern with my account and didn’t completely understand what I was looking at so I came into the branch location where D’Artagnan Myers has been super helpful and broke everything down and explained why and what I was looking at and these codes they use. Thank you Mr.Meyers for the great help today

    This branch must be hit and miss. I stopped to make a deposit. They had 1 teller in the lobby. She was tied up with difficult transactions. After 7 to 8 mins someone from drive thru came to help. She took my deposit. 12 min later I had to ask someone else find out what was taking so long. That person went to the back. 5 to 6 min I had to ask again for someone to go check on 3 people now handling my deposit. The last person came out with the check. I was given some story about security measures. That a 2nd person was needed ( for a 2nd opinon) and that the 3rd person that we back there still couldn't get it done. But after almost 20 min they ready to ahead with the transaction. When I mentioned I could see both individuals handling other transactions...her story changed a but assured mw they were ready to "focus" on my deposit. I said No Way ... give it back. Drop 5 min to the Bandera/1604 branch. 2 minutes my deposit was done. In these days integrity goes very far. Lies and excuses .... they speak to your character and that of an entire branch (in this case). Approach at your won peril.

    I’ve always valued Security Service Federal Credit Union and the quality of service I’ve received as a member. However, I recently had a concerning experience at one of the branches that did not reflect the professionalism I expect. While I was in the ATM drive-thru completing a withdrawal, a teller who seemed to be ending her shift came outside and stood about an arm’s length behind my vehicle while talking on the phone. The other ATM and drive-thru lanes were empty—I was the only vehicle there. She remained in that position for about five minutes before finally walking to her vehicle and driving away. Although there was no direct interaction or confrontation, this behavior was inappropriate given the circumstances. I was withdrawing cash and didn’t know who the employee was, which made the situation uncomfortable and gave the impression that I was doing something wrong. When I called to file a formal complaint, I was asked whether my vehicle was in the pathway of her car. Although I understood the reasoning behind this question, it dismisses the core issue: the lack of professionalism and the discomfort caused by the employee’s proximity to my vehicle during a financial transaction. During the same call, I was told that because there was no confrontation or gestures directed at me, my complaint would not be taken as seriously and there would be no follow-up. I was also informed that notes would be added to my account regarding the incident, it became clear that no formal complaint was actually filed—only that the call would be recorded and documented. While I still value Security Service overall, this experience was disappointing in how it occurred and was handled afterward. I hope this feedback encourages greater professionalism and member awareness at the branch level
