I wouldn't recommend Credit Human to a single person. The biggest reason is this; I have gotten 2 different excuses regarding why I have to give the teller a reason for withdrawing an amount larger than $1000. The final straw was the customer rep on the phone telling me that if I dont not give them a reason why I am withdrawing an amount larger than $1000, then I simply cannot withdraw from my account.
The first excuse I got when I asked the teller why I am being asked to provide a reason for withdrawing an amount larger than $1000 was that it is for safety of the customers. The teller explained that in the past, people have been held ransom for money. When this occurs, they are able to help the customer by reporting it to authorities. My first thought was, if something bad happens to a customer because "Credit Human" decided to play superhero, that lawsuit isn't going to be pretty.
The second excuse for having to tell a teller why I am withdrawing a large amount from my bank account came from an ITM teller today who explained it is for IRS reporting purposes. Yes, the ITM teller told me it is required of Credit Human to report to the IRS anytime a large amount is withdrawn from their bank. Not only is this laughable, but also a blatant lie.
I am closing my account. This place is a joke. No adult should ever have to explain to a stranger what they are doing with their own money. For this bank to think you need to explain why is just ridiculous.

I have been a Credit Human member for 30 years and two weeks ago today, I went to the Bandera Branch to file a Fraud Complaint and I was told last week by their call center representative that it had been submitted to their Fraud Department and today, July 8, 2025 I was told it wasn’t submitted, so someone dropped the complaint. I sent a copy of the notarized complaint to the Fraud Department myself. In the meantime I’m about to lose my auto insurance and my personal property in storage is locked out due to no payment, absolutely discouraged over this situation.

Had the pleasure of working with Brandon Welch on June 20, 2025, on some changes to my account. He handled all of the requested changes with courtesy and competence.
This is not the first time I’ve needed to make changes to an account there. Every time, I’ve received courteous and professional service. I highly recommend Credit Human.
