- DLDanielle L.Oct 14, 20251.0Terrible Experience – Do Not Bank with Wells Fargo I am extremely disappointed with Wells Fargo. My card information was stolen and used by someone to send themselves money through various apps. I filed a claim right away and even provided proof, including a police report, but Wells Fargo refused to honor my claim. Instead, they decided to take the stolen money out of my account. To make matters worse, the customer service was rude and unhelpful. They showed no concern for my situation and didn’t even care to review the police report I went through the trouble of filing. This has been a horrible experience from start to finish. Very untrustworthy and unprofessional service. I will not be banking with Wells Fargo anymore, and I highly recommend others stay away.

Before it I asked the representative in the bank and on the phone as well, to verify that I may close an account over the phone - and I got a positive answer. 2. On August 3 I called, but was told that I cannot do it over the phone, but should come to the branch. However, now I am abroad for a long period of time! 3. As a result, Wells Fargo doesn't allow me to use my money - it is a fraud!
