  I opened an account here because my fiancée banks with prosperity. I open an account and she seemed in a hurry. Well i went to log to activate my card and it wasn’t working. since it was a friday i couldn’t get through to anyone until monday. Well I found out this lady was in such a hurry to go home she misprinted my card and i’ve been locked out of my money for almost a week. do not bank at prosperity and if you choose to I WOULD NOT go to this branch because going home early will be more important than your business.

  Customer service is a fail, they are rude and unhelpful. They need to train their staff better.

  Just got back from Prosperity Bank here in Round Rock, I just moved down to the area and was looking to deposit into my account. I went through the drive thru, swung around front and went inside and I must say I was impressed by this location, it was very clean, with some cool artwork on the walls. The staff was very courteous and I look forward to coming back to make many more transactions.

  If you like fees, fees and more fees with limited account features, go here. This bank is inconvenient in so many ways and done purposefully to make money off you. When I signed up, never did they tell me I couldn't make on-line deposits. I told them this was a imperative for me, especially since each branch is 20 miles away in each dirrection. I called to tell them this feature was disabled from my account and they told me I need to bank there for 3 months. After 3 months, they changed it to 6 months. At 6 months, they said you can't have any negative balances or bank fees for insufficient amounts for 30 days. Well, if you have an account at a bank that has limited locations, terrible hours, and no way of making a fast deposit, you'll end up with neg balance and fees. Where most banks have many features, adding accounts etc., this bank makes you walk in the door for everything. So you have to drive 20 miles and try to make it during their ridiculous lobby hours, As if we don't have to work all day. ** Warning- if you have a check pending, (because you cant make an online deposit to cover it) they automatically charge you fees and do not allow anytime to get money in the bank. This was my last straw! I called and said " I see there is a check pending, what time do I need to get money in the bank (a bank with terrible hrs and nonconvenient locations) to cover the check?" They said they apply the fee automatically, there is nothing I could do to prevent the fee. I told them I've NEVER heard of a bank doing this. Then, not only will you recieve a $35 fee for a return check, they ADD on a negative balance fee on top of that. The lobby manager refuses to work with you, the answer is always No. I'm sure they get bonuses for how many fees they can apply. Last, they purposefully cash checks out of order to make fees. This bank is not friendly and greatly inconvenient. No Texas hospitality here.
