- NNNels NelsonOct 7, 20231.0The account manager who opened my checking account informed me that I would not be charged any fees for the checking account because he was going to make it a digital access account. The account was never placed in "digital access" mode, and so a month after opening the account, my account was debited $12 -- the price that I am required to pay to simply keep my money in their bank, apparently. I even made sure my web login was working correctly. Not enough to keep this bank from simply helping themselves to my money, twelve measly dollars a month. Ludicrous. Fraudulent. I closed my account with them immediately and took out the rest of my money. Every single business in America seems to be like this. That's all that American business does anymore: just scams people out of their money.
