- CMCiji MartinezSep 29, 20251.0I would never bank here. I went in today to cash a refund check from my Homeowners Insurance. The check was a Prosperity Bank check, the teller asked have I ever cashed a check there and I informed her that this is my first time. She proceeded to tell me I have to pay over $25 to cash my check since I’ve never cashed a check before. Even though the check has their bank name on it. I’ve never had to pay to cash a check at a bank the checks were written from. Not very Happy. I took it to my bank to cash for free
