Except that every step of every business interaction, other than opening the account, was a nightmare. The credit card processing partner they referred us to and vouched for was very unprofessional and tried to defraud us by literally inventing a contract that never existed. The online banking was like something out of the 1990s and was constantly locking us out and required us to jump through all sorts of hoops to get back in. Statements are only available for a limited time. If you have an account question or want data from longer than they keep online, they charge $35/hour to "research" that information for you. Why?? It's 2017 and data storage is effectively infinite and free. Ultimately, LegacyTexas was never a partner to my business, but more of a problem we always had to divert attention to. And remember that friendly, small-bank service I was dreaming about? I got a call from Chase the other day on an account I have with them because they noticed I was charged a fee for something and wanted to tell me how to avoid it in the future. How delightful is that?
