I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for over five years and use my account regularly, which is why this experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Last week, I went into a branch to make a large cash withdrawal from my own account. The teller immediately gave me a hard time and told me I couldn’t receive the cash, offering a cashier’s check as the only alternative. I was never given a clear or reasonable explanation. I agreed to the cashier’s check and paid the fee, assuming it would not be an issue. When the person the check was made payable to tried to cash it at Wells Fargo, the cashier’s check was flagged as “suspicious activity” and refused. I then had to return to the branch and speak with the branch teller about why a Wells Fargo issued cashier’s check couldn’t be cashed at Wells Fargo. The entire situation felt completely unfair and poorly handled. This turned into a week-long ordeal, involving multiple visits and conversations. Today, I finally received my funds but only after spending nearly five hours dealing with this branch. At no point did anyone take accountability or offer a clear explanation for why this happened in the first place. As a long-term customer, I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated unfairly and possibly racially profiled throughout this process. No customer should have to jump through this many hoops to access their own money, especially at a major bank. This experience has seriously shaken my trust in Wells Fargo.

I don’t know if all Wells Fargo branches are like this but this one is absolutely horrible. The staff never keep up the appointment times - and we are not talking 5-10 min past the scheduled time - it’s about 30-40 min past. Even for simple things like notary - with an appt prepare to spend at least 45 min at the bank. And if you are late even by 5 min - forget about it! Lousy unaccommodating staff!

This place is horrible! Terrible experience with Emily, Jaqueline, and Amanda. They had their drive thru open serving white customers but when I pulled up, the girls left. I waited then went inside and saw both of the girls who were supposed to be working drive thru in front of their computers not helping anyone. They told me they were “busy and had a long line.” Then Emily, referred to me as “girl.” They were laughing and had smirks on their faces. The manager, Amanda escalated the situation. She saw what was going and how Emily refused to help me and then proceeded to continue arguing with me as customers waited in her office. Amanda told me, she would rather make me wait while Emily did nothing so Jacqueline could help me. At the time, Jacqueline was serving another customer and Emily was on her phone. They had no customer service skills. I recorded the incident and sent it in to Wells Fargo. Just awful way to treat a customer.

This is the worst bank branch I’ve ever dealt with. The staff are always present but never willing to help — they act busy and ignore customers who clearly need assistance. The customer service overall is unacceptable. It’s nearly impossible to reach a representative, and when you finally do, they either transfer you around or hang up without solving the problem. Every call brings a different answer and no real accountability. I also experienced a serious security issue — a scammer accessed my account and transferred money, yet Wells Fargo didn’t notify me or alert me in any way. Their security is practically nonexistent. After today’s visit, I’ve had enough. I’ve already moved my business account to another bank, closed my CD, and now I’m closing my personal accounts as well. This bank is nothing but a headache. And to whoever responds below — don’t bother. I know the routine: you’ll “apologize” and then disregard the complaint completely.

The branch manager at this location has zero knowledge about banking or customer service. If the manager is naive and ignorant I don’t know what to say about her supervised employees.
