- PLPhillip LeeNov 3, 20251.0I have been visiting this branch approximately three to four times per week over the past year to make work-related deposits. Due to the way deposits are handled within my company, I do not utilize overnight drops, and this has never posed an issue in the past. Typically, I arrive early in the morning to complete my deposits. However, on this particular day, I arrived slightly later than usual due to work demands. After waiting in line, I was called to the window by Lauren, who began processing my deposits. During this time, Matt Nabb, whom I understand to be the new branch manager, approached the counter, instructed Lauren to assist other guests, and asked me to take a seat while she helped the next customers. After stepping aside to allow other guests to move forward, I asked Matt for clarification. His response was surprising. He stated that “commercial deposits can be made through the overnight drop” and that “personal account holders are typically limited on time as most of them are on their lunch breaks.” While I understand the importance of serving all customers efficiently, I felt that the situation could have been handled more appropriately. My business banking needs are equally valid, and I have always appreciated the professional and courteous service provided by Lauren, Quiah, and Eric. In contrast, this experience felt dismissive, particularly considering that some delays appeared to result from Matt engaging in non–business-related conversations with other guests earlier in the line. Be better.
