However I called customer service where they assured me one the payment hit the closed savings they could then transfer it to my checking that’s still open with them no problem. Since this is how I was paying for book, school, supplies, and fees at school it was a huge deal this information be correct. They said they placed a note on the account and the lady who’d be working the account would see the note and the agent actually spoke to her directly so she’d know about it. I called everyday for the status of the transaction and every day I was told something different from what the original agent told me but still being ensured the lady would see the note and direct the deposit to the correct account. That was a week ago....nobody knew anything when I called the past 5 days. Today my school called....the money had been returned. If I’d just been told from the beginning this was not possible I would have just gone through the hassle and wait time of switching the account info at my school. Now I’m out the money, possibility of being dropped from classes, unable to buy the books needed and I have to switch bank accounts anyway(which I was going to do once the money was deposited anyway so not a huge deal just the fact I was told so many different things and ensured this wouldn’t be an issue. Closing the account and sticking with Bank of America! I have a few other reason but this review it long enough as it is.
