The location in NRH TX is a 4-star or better, however the Truist fraud team is a joke. My acct was frozen when I sent money via Venmo to my son with the same last name. I had to go into the location to resolve the issue. The tellers at this location were very helpful but the fraud team still didn’t want to unfreeze my account even while I’m in person, with my verified ID and their teller having verified my identity.

I have never had so much trouble trying to make a payment at a bank before I will never ever do business with them again. I understand they have to be careful nowadays, but to make a payment ……

My husband deposited $1,000 in cash to their ATM on 9-11 and the ATM ate the money, spit out $60 of the $1K with a message saying that the remaining funds will stay in the ATM. He went up to the associate when the bank opened up and she said he should have the money in his account within an day and the ATM has “been doing that lately”. What? Why keep it up and running if it’s knowingly taking money without depositing it? Today is 9-16 and the money still has not shown up in his account. People have bills to pay and there should’ve been an offer to credit the account until their investigation was complete. Extremely unprofessional business practice. Avoid deposits through their machines because they are knowingly malfunctioning and they won’t pull them to get serviced.

Worst bank ever! I opened a bank account a long time ago with someone I was with, and I made it very clear that I was no longer with this person and honestly stopped using the joint account for a while. I opened my own personal account with this bank. I have almost close to $2000 in my personal bank account, and they decided to keep it and told me that they have "temporarily held" my personal account that shows no activity of fraud activity. I have never done fraud a day in my life and work very hard for my money. But because they said they saw a fraudulent check in a account I don't use that was not even deposit by me or me not know a THING until they told me at the bank I couldn't have my money in my personal account to pay my bills and I had no support and was behind on my mortgage and food for my kids. I do not understand why I can no longer bank with this bank anymore and have explained many times that I know nothing about anything that has gone on in an account that I never use. No where anywhere does it say my name on any fraudulent check and that know that for a fact. I need my money asap. There are a lot of red flags because when I went into the bank to deposit my $2000 the lady never told me it would be best not to because they are doing an investigation on the joint account your in. But she still decides to take my money put it in my personal and keep it. That is money I worked so hard for just for them to take it away from me
