- KHKings HighwayNov 17, 20253.0One of Prosperity’s customers wrote a check to me that was returned as insufficient. I called the bank to see if the check was now good so I could cash it. It rang 12 times with no answer. I called again with 15 rings with no answer. I tried another location with 10 rings and no answer. Tried a third location with 15 rings and no answer. When I finally got through, They refused to tell me if there was sufficient funds for me to drive there to cash the check. I wasn’t asking for anything personal, simply if it would be good for me to drive there since I was already charged a $5 return fee. So I drive to one of the banks and they verbally told me the funds were in there but they couldn’t get me the funds because I didn’t have an account there. I drove to another location and they did give me the funds less $3.25 because I don’t have an account there. Found out I don’t want to bank there because they don’t seem to care about customer service and besides, they don’t have a clue

Horrific mistakes were made and I still can account for funds which were transferred without my consent. When I finally closed my Business account, Prosperity didn’t even realize that I had left. Completely incompetent and you should avoid this bank at all costs. It is my opinion that they could care less about small business regardless of their advertising.
