- SSSheila4 days ago5.0Woe is me! I embarrassed myself yesterday at DATCU. Needed change for $100 bill to pay yard man who had followed me for pay. Was told I had an outstanding $20 charge on money market account I had emptied two months prior to pay for hearing aids. Would not give me change until $20 was paid. I was flabbergasted that an empty account was considered an open account. Paid $20, finally got change. Went i. Today and sweet marvelous, classy Francis had already credited my account. At 80 my mind finds it illogical to consider an empty account open. In future if a mo ey market account is emptied please notify customer to “close” account so they won’t be charged. Many years ago delivered mail to DATCU on Edmonds Rd. and asked if you could accept letter carriers as members. You did and gave me a mug. Thanks DATCU for making an old lady happy again!

- EUErika UrquidezAug 25, 20255.0***Update: They contacted me the same day to let me know that their machines were up again, went the next day and Ashleigh was very professional and efficient, she issued a replacement card for me*** changing my review from 1 star to 5. Yesterday was just frustrating and the person “helping” me had no customer service skills. Can’t get a replacement card, all machines are down across all branches. There’s not an estimated time or day on when they will be fixing the problem. I need this replacement card for my minor that’s in Hawaii and had her wallet stolen, she still doesn’t have a mail address at campus there, I’m flying out this weekend and could be taking the physical card to her but with this much help I don’t think I am gonna be able to. No help in expediting a card either. Customer service was poor and no answers to my concerns.
