- DLDaniela Lancaster6 days ago1.0Words can’t describe my frustration and dislike for this bank. The bank erroneously charged me a late fee on my mortgage payment. I’ve had my mortgage with them for 13 years and never missed a payment nor ever was late. To dispute the late fee they required all correspondence in snail mail!!!!! They did provide a phone number I could call - which no one ever answered nor returned my VM. After 6 letters and proof of my timely payment - nothing was resolved and I was out $40 plus all the time it took and postage. I can’t help but wonder if that’s an unwritten policy to pull this stunt on approx 200,000 mortgages and they’re sitting pretty. Now I’m researching the reason for this bank not paying my home owners insurance policy for 2 months!!!!!!! This company is a joke and although I was pleased with them the first few years, the last five have been miserable. Can’t wait to pay off my house so I’m done with this bank.
