Visited this branch (O’Connor, Irving, TX) with a large stack of clear evidence for a credit card dispute—damaged records, photo proof, communication logs with Discogs, and full documentation of my attempts to resolve the issue, including a last-ditch effort to work through PayPal after Capital One failed. Instead of getting help, Jao told me, in an extremely offensive tone, that I “couldn’t just walk in and expect a chargeback.” I was told to “call claims” as if my preparation and presence at the branch were meaningless.
It was clear Jao and the staff didn’t want to bother with actual customer problems, even when every shred of evidence was organized and provided on the spot. I also did not appreciate the "I worked at three banks!" flex. He seems more focused on his ego than actually being of any help to the customers. The runaround was so absurd that—even after being dismissed by my own bank—PayPal seems to offer more support for factual disputes than Capital One does for its cardholders.
If you expect meaningful in-person help, don’t waste your time at this branch. Their attitude is that you’re on your own, even when you do everything right. Absolutely unacceptable service, and I won’t trust Capital One again.

I had to write this review because I wanted Capital One to know, that on November 8. 2025 I walked into Capital one Location in Irving, Tx. I had problems receiving my money and no one could tell my why. I was getting so frustrated that I was at the bank and couldn't get answer's. The other bank clerks, they telling me to call the 800 because there busy. I'm at the bank and called the 800#. Make along story short. Joycalin helped me tremendously she went above and beyond. Told me "to set down and give things time and call and make sure everything was sent properly." Just her taking time during a busy Saturday, she had other customers to wait on, but she was so nice. She said "Once you get everything fixed. You just stand on the side and I will get you taken care of." Thank you very much for having Joycalin on your staff, she is very amazing employee and I will be happy to keep banking with Capital One due to her great customer service.
