I called ahead to see if I use their ATM to get cash out from the ATM and go inside to exchange the notes to $5 bills? But they said since I don’t bank with them they will not. I bank with USAA and they are only located near Military bases. I don’t see a problem exchanging their notes for smaller bills. It’s literally coming out of their ATM.

Review completed by Linda Bedford. Wow! Gone are the days of entering this bank and actually getting efficient customer service! I have lived nearby for years and always banked here, but this is ridiculous! I arrived at 10:30 this morning simply to get a quick document notarized. Nope. One couple waiting for a similar such transaction. Now there is a posted QR code in the lobby to get on a wait list. I have a smart phone and know how to use it, but the captcha didn’t work on this site and I couldn’t complete the “wait your turn” registration. I got in line for the teller, who helped me complete it and she explained there was one banker in the building. After 30 minutes of waiting, the one banker appeared to explain that he had someone coming in for an appointment, so it would be awhile before the other couple might be seen. Then, he had another appointment scheduled a short while after that. Enough said. I left the bank thinking that I need to do some investigation on a bank that actually staffs its branches to allow customers to take care of business.

I had scheduled an appointment to talk about wire and set up express net. The appointment was scheduled a week before so my time it's as value as the bankers. 30minutes from my schedule appointment. The banker call just to tell me if "I had everything to help me set the expressnet account otherwise she couldn't help me" this was fair question but once I try to explain to her what qas the concern of my visit it seems to sound i was an inconvenient customer. Never before use this branch sadly I'm sure I'm not the only casualty.

Today I received the absolute worst customer service from Wells Fargo-Park Lakes landing. I have filed a formal complaint and want to follow up with a Google Review to encourage discourse around ways to treat customers with some dignity. While my issue is a byproduct of the institution's two forms of identification rule (which I totally understand and accept), I should NOT have had to talk to three people (the teller, the manager Dana, and the branch manager John) before my issue was resolved. The teller and/or Dana could have simply told me we can't accommodate you here, but if you drive around, you may access the lobby. There you will be able to get a temporary card and can access funds. Instead, I was greeted by people with the unmitigated gall to tell me I cannot access my own money because I did not have my debit card as well as standard state identification. Though I have state identification, I had already explained that my debit card had been shipped but was not yet in my possession. John assisted me and attempted to explain that the teller and Dana were doing their jobs. Great, I have nothing against people doing their job, but what's unfathomable is when those very persons are unable to just offer a viable alternative. It would have cost them nothing to say, "Ma'am, we can assist you in the lobby." I considered changing institutions, but what does that solve? I believe that this is one case, among many, where customers are dismissed without recourse as a result of procedure that can't possibly account for all the complexities associated with banking in the midst of a pandemic. The difference is some customers follow up--not because we wish to sully anyone's character or taint the institution's image! We are invested in growth and growing from these types of harms that, obviously, help no one.
