At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Terrible service. You need an appointment, they make you wait, and then they attend to someone who arrives without an appointment even after more than 20 minutes have passed since your appointment.

Locked me out of my account. Takes 30+ minutes to “validate” my account. Repetitive scripts and ridiculous amount of questions to get account unlocked. I’m switching banks.

Humble branch teller told me that the corporate office closed my account, but Truist still sending me statements and charges $12/mo for the Truist One Checking account Lvl 1 *4537 I have no access to. I asked to open the ticket at the branch and email them. I was promised a refund of all fees. Three weeks later I received another Statement with $12 maintenance fee.
After several attempts to resolve it via phone and in person it's time to file a complaint to government regulators.
UPDATE: Despite all lies from the branch teller, Truist has stolen $36 from my "frozen" bank account as fees before closure on June 11, 2025.

Why unhappy people always have time and energy to post reviews but happy customers dont? Im sure there are a lot of happy clients who love this particular location , just like i do.
I always have great experience with them! Every time! Since BB&T … oh, wait! Since the Citi!
The banker Amber was assisting me today. She was absolutely fantastic! Outstanding customer and communication skills, very knowledgeable and just a great human being. I believed my situation was not an easy one, but not for Amber! :) she knew exactly what we needed to do and was able to deliver a good news after-all.
Thank you so much, Amber! From me and my family.
