  I can't speak for their other employees, but I arrived to cash a check (I personally bank at Chase) and the personal banking service I received was amazing. Normally, banks are pretty dismissive toward "non-customers"...."Put your thumb-print on the check, you schlub."..., but on this particular day, with this particular employee, I was absolutely impressed. I ended up opening an account, mostly because of the enthusiasm and engagement shown by that staff, and the personal banker I met.

  Unprofessional Staff & Unable To Make Simple Deposit: Customer Passed to 3 Staff Members Wells Fargo locations seem to be pretty efficient in Houston, and I have never had a problem before. I was nearby this location and came in to make a simple cash deposit into my mother's account. It was a bad sign when seeing both tellers roll their eyes at a customer in front of me politely saying she was confused about an issue with her account. A second customer came in saying her checks arrived with another customer's address. After filling out the deposit slip, the first teller had to call a second employee to ask if he can make a deposit to an account with only 41 cents in it. He only explained I had to sit at a desk with a second employee so they could call the corporate support line to ask because the account might be dormant. I sat with a second employee who called a corporate help desk. I offered to have her contact the account holder, but she never responded and continued to wait on hold to ask her question if I can make my deposit. After being passed to a third employee to make the transfer, the first teller smirked and got on the third employee’s computer to type. Overall, I would pass on this location to avoid a hassle and a headache. Training on simple transactions and how best to communicate with customers would help with the quality of service at this branch.
