- LLLifeAsSariyahDec 16, 20251.0On December 4, 2025, around 3 PM, I had an extremely frustrating experience with a teller at the Wells Fargo branch inside the hospital. I had a business account that was closed due to inactivity, which I explained is because my business doesn’t collect revenue until January during tax season. Despite speaking with the teller several times before arriving, I was told in person that I needed to deposit $40 in cash to reopen the account (something I was never informed of prior). Being 9 months pregnant, I had to walk a long distance to another ATM, which charged me $4 just to withdraw the money. When I finally returned with the cash, the teller told me my EIN wasn’t in my business name and that I couldn’t open a business account, even though the business had been accepted in my name previously. I offered to apply for a new EIN, which would have taken just 10 minutes, and she sighed and said, “Are you doing it now?” as if she didn’t have time to wait. She gave me no guidance or alternatives, and her dismissive attitude made it feel like she didn’t want to help at all. I had to rely on my own knowledge from past experience and use my social security number to open the account. Even after the fact, it was another teller who helped deposit my money and ensure my virtual card was linked. I also had to remind the original teller about the bank accommodating my parking, which she completely ignored. Overall, the lack of communication, dismissiveness, and unwillingness to assist made this a very unpleasant experience. I expected far better service, especially from a branch located inside a hospital.

There is complimentary one hour parking (get your parking ticket validated at the bank) by the main entrance. It is not the most convenient bank to reach but the notary service by Elizabeth Bonilla was greatly appreciated.
