This branch isn’t diverse AT ALL, so they are not willing to serve a diverse public. and they are not willing to help those who don’t look like them or speak like them

I went into the branch in July to open a business checking account. Upon arrival, I sat down with a business banker named Emad. After discussing my reasons for visiting, Emad called in Helen Green who is the branch leader. After pulling up my account information, Helen was able to see that I already had 2 business credit cards and her response to seeing my limits was “wow that doesn’t happen, you got lucky”. The conversation continued and I provided her with my business documents via email. After stepping away to review my documents, she came back and said she will not open my account and Truist does not want a relationship with me. I told her that I already do business with Truist as I have 2 business products and I asked "why are you rejecting me"? She stated “I have plenty of reasons”. When I called customer service the representative told me that Helen flagged my business as fraud and noted “the documents provided were inconsistent with SOS”. I forwarded customer service the email I sent Helen. The CS representative was able to verify my documents right away. BE AWEAR DO NOT GO HERE * you can do everything online*

This is the worst branch ever! They blocked my entire account which stopped on my deposits in my account because they were incompetent of real business! Emad Rshaidat and Helen lied and told me they needed to do verification on a deposit which will only take a couple of hours. It wasn’t until the next day they released the hold after verifying. It’s Friday and all my deposits were kicked backed! They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and if you have a legit business they will block your account especially if you’re a black woman! Horrible experience I despise I ever considered this bank to even do business! I will avoid them at all cost if you’re doing big business!

Holly was extremely rude and condenscending a couple months back. I think she’s in charge of the other bankers, if you can go to the other banker located outside of her office do that , she was much more friendly and helpful. Also the wait time to see a banker is extremely long. I’ve sat in the lobby for 30 minutes before and they’ve seen someone who came in after me first. I really wouldn’t use this bank if the other branches weren’t so far from me.
