- CLChuck LicataAug 11, 20241.0Time to update that review from 2016. I banked at Prosperity in Liberty Hill (TX). That staff was phenomenal, they were very service-oriented and caring. I had an incident (sometime between 2016-19) where I was scammed through my Prosperity checking account in Liberty Hill and the Prosperity folks there were helpful.. but I still owed the amount of money I was scammed. So I visited the Prosperity Bank here in Granbury. I explained the incident to the Account manager here and told her I was ready to pay that amount of $ up, and possibly open a new account. She said she'd double-check the amount I owed off the scam, and "get back to me within a day or 2." She took down my phone number and had my e-mail account. Well, today is 8/11 and it's been OVER 2 weeks since she said she'd get back to me. What a shame. Maybe I'll visit the branch here sometime and get the account evened up... but I'm REALLY disappointed with the lack of follow up, especially since I had such good service and karma with the Liberty Hill office years ago.

I am closing my accounts with them and will bank solely with my other financial institution from here on out. Incredibly rude staff and I advise anyone thinking of banking with Prosperity to go to the bank across the street, but definitely avoid this branch like the plague.
