- LFLanxe FlemingDec 11, 20251.0I had come in to make a deposit and the woman working - Jennifer made an awful comment that made me ‘feel my color’. Upon witnessing her make a deposit for another elderly gentleman, there was no issue. As I stepped to the counter, I greeted and handed Jennifer my check item to be deposited. To which she handed back to me a deposit slip and said ‘you know how to write, don’t you?’ I find this to be extremely unprofessional and a clear display of blatant racism. The man whom was in front of me was Caucasian, jennifer had completed his transaction - filling out the deposit slip, with no such comment made. So why, when a man of color is to do business, he is treated by his color and not his respect. This is the worst display of community banking in Georgetown. I would recommend no one do business with them , and I will continue to pursue action against the bank for this discriminatory behavior seeking damages.
