- CFCarmen FletcherJun 10, 20251.0We were with Edward Jones for years, and our advisor Ricardo Lira never took any meaningful steps to grow our money. He kept our accounts structured in a way that maximized monthly and commission fees — including holding duplicate and redundant investments we didn’t need. He never offered useful advice, and we had to initiate every conversation. After moving our accounts elsewhere, our fees were significantly reduced, we received real guidance, and our portfolio saw double-digit growth in less than three months. Even worse, after we transferred out, unexplained fees were withdrawn from our accounts in addition to the documented $95 transfer fees. Despite multiple written requests, Ricardo and his office have refused to clarify what those charges were for. We will be reporting this to the appropriate regulatory authorities because if this is a common practice, others deserve to be protected from the same experience.
