Today I had the best experience in a bank... I never thought I would say this, but it was real. From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcome, by Ms. Tanya Mitchell, by the way, thank you very much! She explained to me correctly what I had requested, and she was very patient with me. A human being like few others. I opened my account, and she was kind enough, in the old fashioned way, to introduce me to all the staff, her colleagues, so that they could get to know me in the future. Very intelligent, because I am a simple person, but very detailed and careful of those details, which although small, make a big difference! I highly recommend Moody Bank of Friendswood, and ask for Tanya, I know you will be pleasantly surprised just like I was.

I had an emergency regarding a family member and needed to get money to them asap. I went online and noticed (for the first time) that I could use bill pay and "pay a person". I completed everything and the family member activated from their end via text.(what a great idea!) Tried to send the money and was locked out of my account b/c the amount was "over the limit". The problem was that the limit is not listed when attempting to pay; nor whether the limit is per transaction or per day. I called my branch 3+ times and the phone just rang and rang. I left it ringing on each occasion for at least 5 minutes. When I originally went to the "pay a person" feature, it stated the cutoff was 3pm. I had been trying to call South Shore branch since 2pm. I then tried to call the Galveston branch...same result...ringing ringing and no answer. I then called the branch in Pasadena (according to google). Beatrice Ramos answered! What a great young lady, very professional; after telling her the issue, she went out of her way to help me. When she realized she would need to email someone, she promised to call me back. She did! Although there was some miscommunication, she realized it and told me she would call me back. Instead I got a call back from her Supv, Sharon Brown. Again, what a great young lady! She then informed me that she was actually from the Friendswood branch-my call must have been forwarded to their branch. She tried her very best to help me reach the cutoff time of 3pm. Unfortunately with all my time trying to contact South Shore branch and then the Galveston and Texas City branch, it was literally 1 minute past 3pm and once the problem was solved and I was able to make the payment to my family member, it was too late for the family member to receive the money on Monday (this being Friday). Too bad I spent valuable time trying to reach my branch/ Galveston/ Texas City branches.
I just want these women (from the Friendswood Branch) acknowledged for the care, concern and professionalism in dealing with "my emergency". They may not believe it but, I will remember their concern on this day for a long time. great job Ladies!
