- CTCourtney TaylorAug 9, 20211.0We made the mistake of getting a mortgage through Prosperity. The rate was great, but they were horribly disorganized and promptly sold our loan. We now have Nationstar as our servicer, which is probably the worst mortgage servicer in existence (they recently paid $91m to settle a suit brought by all 50 states' AGs for violating consumer protections laws and another $74m to settle a DOJ suit for illegally going after homeowner in bankruptcy proceedings).
