- JJJennifer JinAug 8, 20251.0Please be aware that Wells Fargo is conducting unlawful notarizations. Luckily for me, this was caught when I tried to register the deed with the state of Texas so I was able to correct it at a different institution. But many of the forms that are notarized would only be caught when it would become critically necessary - such as a medical power of attorney, etc. When I went back to get it corrected, both bankers indicated that it was "Wells Fargo's Policy" to complete the notarizations in a manner that is not compliant with Texas law. As part of my request to remedy the situation, I asked that Wells Fargo conduct an audit of its prior notarizations and correct any other notarizations that were done incorrectly. Based on their response, it is clear they are not going to do so. I want it publicly known to anyone who has an issue with their notarization that Wells Fargo was on notice of their violation of Texas laws as of my first complaint on July 18, 2025 and failed to take appropriate steps to remediate. If you have had a document notarized at Wells Fargo, please also double check to make sure it is compliant with Texas law.

At other locations, there have been times when I lost my card along with my ID and my wallet and they would work with me to verify my identity via alternative means and ensure I would not got through periods without access to my funds. THIS BRANCH - hell no. You're going to need to wait until you get your SS card re-issued (3-6 weeks) and are able to get a NEW ID.... Ludicrous, right? The Hispanic gentleman - Harrerra I believe his name is - that runs this branch was being such a damn DB to me. It was 10 minutes until close and I had explained to him how I am usually able to make arrangements through escalated security measures ... and he looked at me with a insincere and charade-ish "oh, really" look and asked me "What branch was that? The one over by ...." Then went to see about "writing" into his notebook as if he were going to "report" that branch for doing something "COMPLETELY" unorthodox and out-of-policy ... what a dipshit. Screw him and screw this place. Totally indicative of the surrounding area - racist towards whites. I was never treated like a customer with a solvable-problem from the very first moment that I walked in the door - I was a young white-guy with money that they could care less about (at least that is how I perceived my treatment and the general attitude of the collective-staff) and wanted to turn me away so they could continue locking up. Meanwhile the very next day from a different branch I WAS ABLE TO ACCESS MY FUNDS when I withdrew EVERYTHING and opened a BOA account. BOOM! I would carefully review Mr. Herrera's credentials and qualifications to run a branch for such a renowned company. Too many branch-managers like this dick, and WF could incur decisive blows to their reputation.
