My wife tried to change the account to her name and brought in the death certificate and all the necessary documents. The nursing home kept getting the statements so we went back to the bank who has no idea of what happened to the death certificate and has no records of the account being charged over. We decided to close the account and have been here for over an hour trying to close the account. Apparently there are only three people who know how to close an account here. Every time we have tried to do anything here it always turns into a fiasco. The account is finally closed and it's time to celebrate.

I have attempted to make things right with them multiple times but unless I pay all those fees they are taking me court. I am fine with paying what I owe but the bank is set on getting there 35 dollar every transaction is a bit excessive. I have had accounts with this bank for 20 years. Way better banks to do business with.
