- MCMark CooperFeb 19, 20193.0Update: presently we are working through this and the inappropriate fees have been reversed. These guys scammed me into a high fee account that I specifically asked not to be placed in. I had to transfer accounts here from an investment made with AG Edwards who became Wells Fargo after a series of acquisitions. I emphasized that I simply needed a place to park a small investment (<10K) and had no reason for added services. They assured me that the account would have zero fees. Yet, they placed me in their Advisors Broker account which is designed for those fortunate to have 250K in assets and pay a $100+ annual fee. Banking is based on trust -- I have no trust in Wells Fargo.
