  It's no wonder this bank is always empty. By far one of the most incompetent Banks I've ever bank with. Im just dive into it. If you want to cash a legitimate check here they will make it impossible for you to do that and then light straight to your face about what the FDIC says well I've done some research and what they told me was they're not allowed to call a financial institution and verify a legitimate check I have done my own research and it says that it is up to the bank to indeed call the financial institution to verify a check to protect them against fraud what First Citizens Bank told me is that they're not allowed to do that that is not true and then told us that if we cash one of our checks and there was a certain word on there that was binding even though it's a legitimate check that they could bounce it and then it would be on the consumers behalf well I've done more research on that as well and come to find out that's illegal for a bank to legitimately bounce a legitimate check. No bank has that right and it's a criminal offense I do not appreciate being lied to about that but then I was in there around 3:00 to 4:00 p.m this wannabe tell her call Jared lost his temper started mocking the way that I talked and then have the audacity after I banked with them for 5 years to tell me that it will be his pleasure to close my account since when is it A banks pleasure to close a long-term customers account but also not to mention that they were not verifying our check they were making up lies to not cash it and truly insulting are character as respectful customers that have zero bounced checks on their accounts for 5 years don't even waste your time banking with this Bank they will absolutely make it impossible to cash checks cuz they refuse to verify that even though the law states that their advice to verify check I'm so glad I'm done banking with them but Jared I'm not done I'm calling corporate how you treated me mock me talk to me I'm not okay with that you're not going to mock the way I sound it's your job to keep a professional but you got personal so I will be filing a complaint

  I recently attended a meeting with First Citizens Bank and had a phenomenal experience that I have not had with any other bank I have visited. Mikki, Sherry, and Katie were very professional, had wonderful customer service, took time to build rapport, and were genuine. I appreciate First Citizens Bank's mission, values, and loyalty to the community. It is obvious that they care about the well-being and best interest of their clients and for that I will always be grateful.
