- JMJoana MartinezNov 5, 20221.0This bank will never have your back when it comes to fraud or a scam. I banked with this bank for almost 15 years. I never thought they would leave me almost penny less after being scammed. The worst part is after contacting them, they reassured me that they would take care of my issue and left it at that. Come to find out, they closed my account without notifying me. I couldn’t even get a hold of the money I did have in the account still. I am still so disappointed with them. I would have never become a part of this Bank of Texas “family” if I’d known how they would leave me with so much stress and anxiety over not knowing where my next meal or my rent payment would come from because I was left money-less. They couldn’t even have the decency of making me aware of the issues with my account or that they were closing it. After they closed my account, I still had a car loan with them and they removed the discount they would give me if I got a loan with them. That was the icing on the cake! Forget this bank! I would never recommend them to anyone and much less a friend or family member.
