  This bank knows customer service. I was having lunch at the El Fenix next door and had a document needing to be notarized. While waiting for my parties arrival i went in and asked if they did notary service. I was told yes and let Rebecca Gomez know i would be back after lunch. When i came back we completed the process and when i asked if they take card or cash, she told me there was no charge! I was absolutely shocked and grateful. She proceeded to also make a copy of the document. Wonderful staff and exceptional service!!! I highly recommend Amegy Bank

  I usually visit the Monticello branch, ALWAYS a great experience. I visited the Northwest Highway branch on July 5th 2023 and the experience was quite the opposite. There was a woman and man serving the drive through windows and I was the only car the entire time. the man took a VERY long time making a simple deposit. He eventually came back to the window where we had an exchange about them holding the deposit for review, to which I stated, that doesn't happen at Monticello, to which he replied "we don't know you". I said... Is this Amegy Bank? The woman who had been helping the man at that time made a speedy exit from the window, and the man didn't have much to say. So very rude. I suggest anyone banking with Amegy to try the Monticello location, where they actually respect their customers. I will never return to the Northwest Highway location.
