This bank has serious problems of Customer Service not only online, but in person was a debacle. I went straight to the ATM to make a withdrawal and the ATM declined my card without telling me what was the problem. I went to the drive thru 100F waiting in line finally I was at the tube and sent the withdrawal slip with my card, asking for a single $100 bill, and asking Why, the ATM didn’t give me $$. 10 minutes later and being only 2 clients I was like what’s going on?!?! So, I wasn’t greeted, nobody was talking to me, no answers or questions, then waiting for 10 min under 100F I was calling and asking what was going on??? I had some frozen food that I bought from the grocery store, everything was melting down and I didn’t have any answers why I couldn’t have a $100, so the tellers answered was “Do You Speak Spanish”?????? I was furious because i was waiting for so long and then she didn’t greet me, she didn’t answer my question and she was asking me something completely unrelated to the situation, so, I said yes who cares about that, can you please send the money I need to go, frozen food is melting and I need to get home. She didn’t answer left me waiting for a little longer and sent me an envelope with 5 $20 bills after I asked specifically on my withdrawal slip pls give me a 1 $100 bill, so, I had to call again and ask, do you have any $100 dollar bills or you don’t, she said yes, so pls send me just one. Another 10 minutes between the back and forth, and then she sent me a note saying the ATM didn’t give me the $$ because I took too long to add the password?!?!? I was literally so upset that I left, that was NOT the real reason at all because I did everything following the normal steps of any ATM, everything was so ridiculous, so, when I get back home, I checked my bank account online to find out that my debit card was blocked, I didn’t remember that at all, because I already had to replace to cards for fraud in less than 1 month, and that was something that they suggested me to do online, and I didn’t remember that. I practically never use my debit cards and the teller could not even tell me that my debit card was blocked for security reasons!!! Prosperity is one of the worst banks I’ve ever have to deal with and unfortunately is the only one that has branches around all over Texas small towns and it’s the only one I can use here 😤. I’ve have had so many problems with this bank, between horrible service in person, horrible service over the phone, horrible service online, I wish there were other banks around here for sure. I really miss WACHOVIA BANK the best banks I’ve ever had and unfortunately Wells Fargo bought it. Oh well, good things sometimes don’t last and bad ones stay.
