    UPDATE!! This branch did not delivery my check properly to the credit card company.. I called them, they said to keep waiting on the mail... certificated mail... I then called them 3 weeks later to let them know that my credit card company has not received the check, I get a phone call 10 mins later stating that the credit card company said that the numbers on the acct was incorrect. They told me that they will mail me out a new check and that was 10 days ago...still have not received my check to pay my credit card company and each day I am paying double interest. These people lied to me and I thought they were trustworthy. I asked them to help me with the interest that had accumulated and they basically said, you will have to pay the credit card the interest and us the interest. ******************** I am very please with the service that I have been receiving at this particular branch, not only do the manager goes above and beyond but also the loan specialists as well. I have been with them for about 3 years and they have always taken care of my financial needs and keep me updated on my accounts and concerns. If you are looking for a place that will help you in your financials and train you on how to keep your credit in line. This is the place for you!!!... will definitely continue doing business with them...

    Every time we deal with Belinda in the Cedar Park office, we are treated with both personal and professional courtesies and service.     Absolutely appalling experience. I have been a customer of Republic Finance for over two years. My account was always in good standing — I even refinanced once and borrowed more through them. I consistently paid ahead of time and communicated with transparency. But last December, like many people, I fell on hard times. Due to a merger at my job, my role was restricted and I was earning significantly less. As a result, two payments failed that month — the only time I’ve ever had issues — and suddenly I received a notice that they were taking me to court. Over ONE missed payment. One. I’ve never encountered a more disproportionate or heartless response in my life. After years of reliability, that’s the treatment I got — no grace, no support, just immediate legal action. What a waste of company time and resources, and a glaring example of unethical business practices. When I called to explain, I was told there were no notes on my account showing any of my prior communication — which I had made multiple times in good faith. Not only is that false, it’s insulting. It’s not my job to document your internal communication failures. To make matters worse, their app and website are riddled with issues. I have screenshots of multiple failed payment attempts due to system errors. They didn’t care. They didn’t listen. After sending me to court and speaking to me with condescension multiple times on the phone, only then did they finally mention the possibility of restructuring my loan. So I went into the branch in February and did just that. But even that was a headache — I couldn’t set up autopay, couldn’t use my checking account, and now I have to call a separate number every month to make a payment manually. How is this a modern business? And still, no online access to my account. No ability to track payments unless I ask someone to print them out for me like it’s 1998. They’ve also told me in the past that I couldn’t use my checking account due to two failed payments (even when that wasn’t true), and only corrected their error after multiple rude conversations — never once acknowledging their mistake or offering an apology. More recently, they’ve made it even harder to pay. You can’t make payments in-branch anymore. You can’t use cash. And if you pay by card? You get charged a fee. What exactly is the incentive here — other than squeezing every last cent out of your struggling customers? This company has no regard for loyalty, compassion, or basic customer service. Their systems are broken, their policies are predatory, and their treatment of people during difficult times is disgraceful. If you’re considering doing business with Republic Finance — especially this Cedar Park location — I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
