  Best banking experience—highly recommend Prosperity Bank in Cedar Hill Prosperity Bank in Cedar Hill is truly the best bank. Every time I walk in, the tellers are always welcoming, courteous, and extremely helpful. They recognize me, greet me by name, and genuinely make me feel valued as a customer. I especially want to recognize the bank manager, Edwin McCoy. He recently helped my daughter and me with a complicated transaction and handled it seamlessly and quickly. His professionalism and knowledge made what could have been stressful completely effortless. Since the passing of my husband, Edwin has also been absolutely invaluable in helping me transfer accounts and navigate everything during a very difficult time. He is always available, patient, compassionate, and incredibly helpful. I am truly grateful for the outstanding service from this branch and highly recommend Prosperity Bank in Cedar Hill to anyone looking for exceptional customer service and support.

  I have been banking at prosperity since I had my first job and had a wonderful experience until just last week when I requested a duplicate debit card to be sent in the mail because the plastic had been peeling off. I expressed that I still would like to use the existing card for the time being and will cut the old one once I received the new card. Instead the teller canceled my card completely unbeknownst to me (once that is done they stated there is no way for you to get the card reactivated). So any subscriptions, auto-pays, any place that I saved that card on, will have to be changed. Working full time 7am-6pm hrs makes it impossible to get in the bank doors so I had to go without a form of payment for a week as whether I ordered a new card or found time to make it in, would be the same time. I was told that when you request a duplicate or cancel card it is a easy miss-click and if so, please Prosperity update that function so I don't have to worry any time I request a duplicate card that I am one wrong click away from having to go through this process again. Especially when I nearly died of embarassment when I found out my card was not working at a register panick called card support and was told that not only can I not use my card, the new one I'd requested is not even on its way.
