Extraco Banks is dedicated to building people, businesses and communities. Established in 1902, it’s the largest and most comprehensive locally owned bank between Dallas and Austin.
I’m honestly really disappointed right now. I reached out to Extraco Bank for temporary payment relief while I’m in nursing school and trying to get through a hard season — and instead of any empathy or help, I got a cold response from Ms. Jess Eldridge saying there are no alternative options and even a reminder that my ex’s father made the first payment.
For context, he’s actually the co-signer, meaning it’s legally his responsibility too. I wasn’t asking for a handout, just a little grace or flexibility during a tough time.
It’s disheartening to see how some institutions handle customers who are genuinely trying to do the right thing. I’m doing my best to stay on top of everything — as a full-time nursing student and single mom of three — but this experience was really upsetting.

Manuel and the other guys here are amazing. I come here very regularly for my job and they are always so nice. They remembered my name by the second time i came by. By far the best bank customer service i’ve experienced at a bank. :)

I switched the Extraco bank because they financed my vehicle, I was originally dealing with the Waco location which was great but I moved to Bryan in June and have been using this location in Bryan and let me say this is 1 of the biggest mistakes I have made. Everytime I come to this location I have to wait at least 20 min even doing something small like cashing my check. As soon as I pay my vehicle off I will never deal with this bank again.
