She walked in to book a meeting with their financial advisor and was ignored, then questioned in a rude, condescending way about whether she even had an account. She has been with Edward Jones for years, and this interaction made her feel belittled and disrespected. No long-term client should ever be treated this way. Because of this experience, we will be closing and moving the accounts to an institution where clients are treated with basic courtesy and professionalism regardless of race.
