  Robert is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained every aspect of 401k and investments plans to me in a way that I could understand. He was also super patient with me as I had lots of questions. I would 100% recommend choosing him for all your financial advising needs!!

  When I was looking for a financial advisor, I wasn’t looking for someone who would simply make good investment decisions for me and be otherwise invisible. I wasn’t looking for someone who would endorse my own decisions without pushback, or would echo back to me values identical to those I claim to honor. I was looking for someone who would work with me starting with where I was, would call the shots as he saw them using the best tools available for meeting my financial goals, and would tell me when and why I was about to make a poor move. Robert W Scott was the person I was looking for. He has helped me understand where i needed to make difficult decisions and has unswervingly ensured that I understood the consequences. He has had the courage to confront me on the numerous occasions when I was slow at adjusting to the realities of the larger economic environment and to help me achieve some distance from emotional decision making. I am not an easy client to work with, and he has done a superb job. I recommend him, especially to people who like myself are investment novices but to anyone who wants more than a broker or an investment specialist but is in search of a genuine financial advisor, and I do so without any qualification. The five stars have been richly earned.
