  Always jam pack and ATM gets on the fritz. Most of Wells Fargo bank locations/services have really gone down lately, but this particular one is the worst I've seen. My solution: switching banks

  I called the claims department at WF to find out how to have our insurance claim check endorsed and was told to walk into Bastrop location with check and tracking number. There is not a sign at the sign I. sheets area that states anything other than to sign in. I waited 30mins to be told that you have to have an appointment for a banket to help you. There was no one else in the bank but me and only one person in the drive thru. She said they still couldn't see me in case the appointment arrives but wouldn't say when that appointment was. Worst branch! Do not waste your time coming here. I asked how to make appointment and she said go to wellsfago.com and search for it somewhere on the website.

  The good: They are friendly and professional and I've always had positive experiences interacting with the people who work in the drive-thru. The bad: The ATM here is literally ALWAYS broken. You can't ever deposit or withdraw cash and currently the ATM is just completely shut down. There's always technicians working on it because there's literally always an issue. The wait times to speak with a teller are also typically really long. It's calmed down since the pandemic was in full swing when the lines would literally wrap around the block but the wait time is still excessive compared to other banks in the area. I ultimately think this bank is just too small to be the only location in town. I really wish Wells Fargo would build another branch or at least install a stand alone ATM somewhere else in the area, especially as Bastrop continues to expand.
