Truist is the worst bank. They operated in bad faith on millions of mortgages forceing accounts into delinquency. Though this wasn't an international, they knew of the issue and filed with credit agencies anyway. Then even disputed claims to drag out the credit reporting being fixed, ultimately locking out accounts from charges as they transferred there servicing to a 3rd party servicer. Dropping the ability for tracking the issue to be fixed. They even falsely claimed to thousands that they were required to report the delinquency.

We had a check forged and I am glad to say Truist and Kedrick were great. Kedrick Lovelace is a very professional banker. He responded to my business and personal requests in a timely manner.

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. My vehicle was totaled, and the full balance was paid off through the other party’s insurance and my GAP coverage. Despite this, Trust Bank still applied fees, claimed I was late, and even reported it to my credit without giving me a courtesy call or any explanation about why there was a balance. When everything was already paid off, this should never have happened. Do not trust this bank, there are many other banks that treat their customers far better.

I have been banking with BB&T every since they had bought out some Citibank branches in Texas. Never had they required my ID to deposit cash into my account eventhough I presented my bankcard. What if I would have just deposited that same amount through Venmo??? Then I asked for a check registry and the teller gave me 1. Well 1 registry might last me 2-3 weeks and I don't go to the branch that often because I live all the way in far east Austin and there aren't any branches less than 15 miles so I would like to conduct all my business with as less trips possible. I have been debating switching banks and maybe it's time.
