- OROdell Richardson4 days ago5.0I've been banking with this institution for over a decade and this credit union has been helpful, each visit, year after year. I am always greeted when I enter and the staff always get my needs taken care of. This location is never packed and close to my place of employment. Today I made it to the credit union a minute before they closed. I wanted to withdraw money from the ATM and deposit it into my ACU account but the ATM was temporarily closed. After speaking to Lexa, she asked one of her coworkers to go outside to take a look at the ATM to see if there was something that could be done. At this point the credit union was several minutes past their closing time but they tried to help me anyways. Once Lexa learned that the ATM was still not working she asked what my needs were. After explaining what I wanted to do, Lexa told me that I could Zelle the money from my other credit union to ACU. I don't know how many times I could have done this in the past (36+) but I was not aware that this was possible. Thanks to Lexa, I learned something new today and she was patient, helpful and friendly as she helped me navigate through the app to Zelle myself the money. I can't imagine how much time, gas and effort has been wasted over the numerous years transferring money from one credit union to another, when all I had to do was Zelle myself the money 🤦🏿♂️ Thank you Lexa and the other cashier (I wish I got her name so she could get recognition... I'm so sorry) for helping me get this transfer taken care of. And as I was leaving, a gentleman pulled up 11 minutes after closing time, entered as I was walking out and they still took care of his transaction. Good customer service is hard to find consistently but it exists at Associated Credit Union of Texas. Thank you for always taking care of me 🙏🏾 See ya soon!
