They stole from me! & knew that mistakes with money orders are hard to prove because it’s a cash transaction. They had a lady named Claudia who came to fill in from another store there when I went in to do my money order for my rent. I gave her 1100$ in 100$ bills and the rest in 20’s, a 5, and some 1’s totaling to 1226.71. I told her round it up to 27 which means the 26.71 to 27 not the whole second money order to just 27$. I was running errands with my kids so I may have been distracted and moving a little fast. I did not realize there was 2 missing and that is definitely my mistake which I’m more mad about. I called then eventually went back in because nobody called me to let them know my money order was short and the GM Chasity was hard to deal with and did nothing to help me. Just said that the receipt said what it said and that she supposedly looked at the cameras and could not identify my money being laid out on the counter being counted. Said she couldn’t zoom in to see the cash which sounds like bs to me because how are you a chain company and have janky cameras that can’t cash on the counter when you are money place. Corporate was very rude to me after I called to speak with them and totally took the GM word that they did not steal 200$ from me.i would never go get a money order for my rent knowing im 200$ short I know what I have that lady and they stole from and rigged the system to make it look like I didn’t pay that 200$. Colleen is great and always has taken care of unfortunately she wasn’t there the day I went a thief handled my transaction. My kids Christmas money is being sent to my leasing office to cover what they stole from. Never again, I pray they go out of business for being such a rude and unprofessional company. Shame on you! God got me and I’ll always be ok, so I’ll let him deal with you because karma is you know what. You ll get yours for stealing from my family and I!
