- AAa aApr 4, 20221.0I had a check written on a Wells Fargo account. I asked if it the check was good. I asked would they know if a stop payment was made on the check I was told yes. I was told Wells Fargo could not cash it as it was a deposit only check. The clerk said the system said that, it was not on the check. I went above and beyond to clarify that the check was still good as I would have to deposit in my banking institution. The only thing on the check was the usual must be cashed within 180 days. GUESS WHAT, the check had a stop payment on it. According to the check issuer the stop payment was over a week before I went into Wells Fargo.

So I was thinking of switching. Wells Fargo has implemented Deposit limits, I run a computer business, you can only deposit up to $1,000 dollars a day and max $2,000 for the month....WHAT!!? Do I keep the rest under my mattress? I went to Chase.

Then they were short AGAIN with me. Unfortunately, it is close to my work. I suggest you drive another mile and go to the Watter's Creek location.
