I have been a Truist customer for many years but I was very disappointed in the reception I received from the Branch Leader Susan today. I called in advance to ask about getting something notarized, arrived at 12:45pm, and asked if I should join the line, Susan said I would have to wait for her response. When she returned 5 mins later, she said I should now join the line as her 1PM appointment had arrived since she first spoke with me. My notarization would have taken less than 5 minutes, but instead the Branch leader had me join the teller line and it took me an additional 20 mins to get this simple transaction done. Evidently customer service is not a priority at this bank.

I went in today to set up two business accounts, when I walked in I seen the bank leader I didn’t catch her name but I told her I needed to open two business accounts, she told us to have a seat. 45 minutes later a banker (Amy) called us into her office, and acted like we were just burdening her, it’s like she was upset we were wanting to open accounts, then she started being extremely rude. In a horrible attitude she told us it’d take 2 hours per account to set up, when I told her that was fine. She handed me my folders back and said, “I actually won’t be able to help you today, you need an appointment.” So I went out to my car and decided to come back inside to see how I could make an appointment, where I found the banker Amy and the bank leader talking trash about me and my husband. I then said, “If it were an issue why didn’t you tell me before having me wait 45 minutes?” And the leader said, “I’m not doing this.” And walked into an office and slammed the door.

Garbage bank. I Deposit 100s of checks via mobile app and they random cherry pick large deposits to put a hold on them, then they'll lie right to your face about the reason and send you emails with "confidential information" that they claim is the reason they put the deposit on hold.
