If negative stars was possible truth would have my full review absolutely unprofessional worst experience from a bank! You are better off saving your money underneath your mattress!

Completely Unprofessional, rude and horrible experience. The staff and management never want to really help you they always will give you a customer support number even though they are the ones that are supposed to help you even customer support told us that! It was a lot of back and forth. And we got nowhere! Every time we had to go in person they would literally make a face and the manager would hide in her room she would never come out to help at all! Like it’s your job! Especially with trying to help older people. Will never bank here.

Checking accounts are used for day-to-day transactions, like buying something online or at a store with a debit card, sending money digitally, writing a rent check, or depositing cash and checks. You can open your new account any way you want. (Note that Truist CDs can only be opened at a branch.)

Online: Get started right away by opening your account online. You’ll have to wait a few days for your debit card and checks to arrive by mail—or you can visit a branch to get a temporary debit card ASAP. Branch: Visit a branch near you during business hours to open your new account. Bonus—you’ll walk out with a ready-to-use temporary debit card with your new checking account.
